If you have a 100ah and you DIY with EVE cells another 12v pack..can you put them in series for 24v? even though they are not the same manufacturer...

I am trying to get to know this battery and so far it only got to 14.3v for a minute and spends most of its charge time in float at 13.7. I thought it might have gone to 14.3 because I discharged it enough for the charging voltage to stay high before the battery was almost totally charged and when it it is close to that it throttles back to 13.7 or 13.8v. So am I right in thinking that I would be likely to see 14.4v after I discharge a fair amount of the 100ah...??? I want to start this battery out with an optimal charging regimen for its best longevity...and to learn about charging LiFePo in general.. what do you know??

I cant get my 100ah to go above 14,2. My KID controller switches to float. So I cant top balance. Anyone run into a similar thing?

Hi, glad to see a SOK forum. I have the 12v 100ah. Its new. I have it on 2 solar panels and its working good. I set my controller for 14.6 bulk and 13.8 float. How long should I set the time at 14.6v in order to balance out these new cells. 10 min? or 30 min? or more? Once I balance them I will only set the timer every once in awhile.....otherwise it will be at 0 min. and once it hits 14.6 it will drop right down to 13.8 float. So how long should I stay at 14.6 for balancing?? thanks and cheers.
