My understanding is the heaters will only work if batteries see a charge current coming in. Like being plugged to shore power and a a charger is working. Or maybe being charged from an alternator. The batteries won't turn the heaters on by themselves. The app shows an icon with heater on or off but I don't think that's actually a switch. It's not been cold enough for me to test this.

I have given up on SOK fixing this app. I think the BT circuit is just so week it can barely get out of it's metal box let alone the floor as my batteries are under van. I needed the heaters for our cold weather use. I don't regret getting these... as long as they work! Even IF you get the app SOC to match spec's it will probably drift off. I have a shunt and two 206Ah in parallel. The shunt gives an accurate reading of everything going in and out of the two batteries so keeps an accurate SOC.

If you look at or download the version of ABC-APP for Android from Goggle Play it will still be version 1.0.16. Same as it has been since mid July. Is there somewhere else to download this app that has been updated ??
