Hi
i bought two 100A SOK batteries and have them hooked up in parallel with 1/0 short cables and they’re connected to a 2000W pure sine inverter.
I ran the microwave today and Victron Connect showed the voltage dropped down to 11.75 volts while the 900W microwave was running. The volts recovered quickly when the load was removed and the starting voltage was 13.5 volts.
Is it normal for the volts to drop down that low to 11.75vdc with the 130A load across two batteries
Actually they were fully charged before my test and were at 13.5V when I hooked up the inverter and ran the microwave. With 130A load they dropped to 11.75vdc and when the microwave finished they returned to apx 12.8vdc or so. My question is: with two in parallel and a load of 130a, is it normal for these to drop to 11.75vdc? I was using a Victron connect shunt.
Drop down to 11.75V means almost no power on battery, it did not get charged yet.
